This document, edited by Loyola, M., Matta, G. y Herrera, R.F., compiles the experiences of 14 Chilean universities in integrating Building Information Modeling (BIM) into undergraduate programs in Architecture, Engineering, and Construction. It provides an overview of diverse approaches—curricular reforms, teaching methodologies, and evaluation strategies—used to embed BIM into academic training. Through the “ABCDE” framework (Antecedentes, Bases, Currículo, Didáctica, Evaluación), it highlights lessons learned, common challenges, and the role of BIM in preparing future professionals for an increasingly digital and collaborative construction industry. The collection demonstrates that while paths differ across institutions, a shared objective persists: fostering competencies that align with technological transformation and the demands of Chile’s construction sector.
