Kiel Moe

Kiel Moe is a registered architect and Associate Professor of Architecture and Energy at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design. He teaches design studios, seminars on Forms of Energy, and lectures on architecture and energy systems. He is Co-Director of the MDes design research program. He is author of Insulating Modernism: Isolated and Nonisolated Thermodynamics in Architecture, 2014; Convergence: An Architectural Agenda for Energy, 2012; and Thermally Active Surfaces in Architecture, 2010; among several other books. Forthcoming books include Empire. State. Building. and What is Energy and How (Else) Might We Think About It? (with Sanford Kwinter), both 2016.
