Stefan Koppelkamm

Stefan Koppelkamm photographer, artist, and designer, studied graphic design at the Kunsthochschule Kassel. He has taught visual communication at the Kunsthochschule Berlin-Weissensee since 1993. Since the publication of his bookGlasshouses and Wintergardens of the Nineteenth Century in 1981, Koppelkamm has repeatedly engaged with historic and contemporary aspects of architecture, cities, and landscapes. Just as his book Ortszeit Local Time could be seen as a search for a collective memory stored within architecture,Screening is a treatise on spaces and buildings that have no connection with their architectonic or social context.
