Mouaz Abouzaid

Mouaz Abouzaid is an Architect, Designer, BIM Manager and a chartered member of the Royal Institute of British Architects. He was born in Cairo in 1980. He graduated in 2004 from Fine arts, Alexandria University. Abouzaid have always sought new challenges in life to learn, explore and expand his knowledge of Architecture. Initially, He started working in local companies where he got his first taste of Architecture before he gained his big break and was awarded with several positions in international Firms. He began to discover a new world of architecture; the one He has been dreaming about. Working under the wing of the top Design Directors in the Middle-East was a great experience that played a pivotal part in changing his vision and direction in architecture.
Abouzaid was selected as the Young Architect of The Year in 2016 and one of the top 40 Architects in the Middle-East. The judges praised his strong commitment to sustainability and mentioned that he showed huge promise and had kept true to his own ideas and equally added that he will be a person to watch out for very closely over the coming years. Abouzaid believes that creativity is just about connecting things and his target is to make people live happily and feel better. The better the architecture, the better life will be achieved for all. In addition to design, he is also heavily involved in BIM Management where he works tirelessly on projects that require special technology.
The final port of his journey is at Dewan Architects as a BIM and Technology Manager and parallel to that he is Teacher Assistant at Ajman University. His method of educating is tailored to suit experts in the industry, as well as those who are just starting their own journey into the world of Architecture.
