Gauthier Roussilhe is a designer, writer and student in Design (Spaces and Participation) at Goldsmiths University. Before that he has been co-running a design studio for 5 years, working for corporate clients and public institutions as well as guiding design research projects.
Now his practice is about exploring profound changes implied by human impacts on ecosystems and habitat. He is especially interested in the shift from a world considered without limits to a world with limits (resources, energy, ecology) and also more and more fragile for human activities.
As a designer he tends to work on a field, doing in-depth research, interviews and observations on specified territories and ecosystems and aiming to activate local engagement through design. To do so he uses filmmaking, fiction, digital design, game design as tools.
