Aurora Fernández Per graduated in Mass Media Sciences, Department of Journalism, Universidad Complutense de Madrid, 1979.
She founded a+t architecture publishers in 1994 and works as editor since then. In 2011 she founded a+t research group.
She is author and editor of numerous publications including the Density series books, 2006-2011, This is Hybrid, 2011 and 10 Stories of Collective Housing, 2013.
Aurora Fernandez Per has experience of Curatorial Work such as the exhibitions “Revisión del Plan General de Ordenación Urbana del Término Municipal de Vitoria-Gasteiz”, in 1998 and the “Guía de Arquitectura de Vitoria-Gasteiz” in 1995. From 1995 to 1998 she also collaborated with the French Ministère de L’Équipement, in research projects concerning architecture and the conditions of architectural practice and has written for several publications. In the last years, a+t, has paid careful attention to the analysis of collective housing within the compact city, as well as to the importance acquired by public spaces as key factor for social regeneration.
