Post-Extractive Architecture

Xu Tiantian speaks to urbanNext in the context of the Obel Award Talks at the UIA World Congress of Architects 2023 in Copenhagen. Her work inhabitating abandoned quarries with adaptive re-use strategies is not only giving an architectural response to post-extractive landscapes, but is also contributing to the mitigation of climate change.
