Holes by Sandra Ratkovic
This photo series shows traces of war, contrasts and everyday life today in Ex-Yugoslavia. The photos were taken in and around Gospic, in the mountains of Croatia (Lika). The houses and building are very typical for this region and show damages caused by the recent war in the 90s, such as bullet holes in buildings and gates. These damages are still not fixed and, with time, seem to have become a disturbing constant part of the city scenery. The photos were taken in 2017.
