Urban Forces

On the face of the imminent failure of the modern paradigm to approach the structural dimensions of the landscape and answer to the demands of emerging contexts, in Venezuela arise experimental processes based on self-managed subjectivity as a search that validates the transversal participative system between the different ways of public life. The potential of urban forces, the instruments pertaining to disciplines applied to the urban phenomenon and the cooperation capacities of institutions establish new protocols, interaction networks and states transformation.
This paradigm of political action over the territory is focused on working on the consolidation of spontaneous organic growth of urban fabric, propelled by the notion of reordering the physical and social conditions, establishing a critical stand upon the contradictory perspective of the formal-informal city, in favor of social cohesion methodologies on a multiscale level based on the logic of integrated systems.

The urban force correlation of the last decade has developed an inventory of strategical operations and practical research components to ordain the territory, as a consolidative formula for the procedure that locally activates specific transformations derived out of more complex processes that support the consolidation of social evolutionary dynamics from infrastructure features.

The right to the land and the democratization of urban soil begins by acknowledging the territorialized autonomous paradigms of meta-subjective, impersonal and collective intelligence. The management of physical and social networks as ecosystems that may be explored and exploited, in the building of methodological action models amongst community’s potentialities, the State institution’s logistical and operative capacities and the tools product of disciplines applied to the urban phenomenon; joined as a work formula that allows to establish new protocols, cooperation networks and transformation methods of the social structures integral management of the territory.

The project is a mechanism of determination, invigorated by lines of community involvement that connect and manage multiple resources of aesthetic, tectonic, structural, technological and organizational nature; which then dissolve the project into a mechanism of direct disciplinary control, supporting the open and adaptive regulations, which are not universal. It’s the activation of protocols towards new disciplinary paradigms, that are aloof from the idealized artificiality of the economic development policy, and closer to the emergent domains of procedures of empowered local selection; in which each territorial operation supports the complexities and varieties of the context where it is inserted.

Building means of communication that, as pedagogic resources are able to invigorate and strengthen different forms of knowledge -by either customs or convention-, are shared without obstacles. These are relationships being unfolded and organized in a horizontal non-hierarchical way, that allow a constant and conceivable operation, integrating processes of divergent formation and generating continuity among domains of segregated production.

Knowledge is constituted in collaborative learning methods alongside the construction of horizontal understanding through the development of action and education mechanisms, as well as the mediation assemblage within a motivation, self-regulation and open participation cycle.

The notion of landscape transcends the exteriorized dimension based on somewhat complex conditions of spatial relationships, to be recognized as a dynamic continuum of material and human organization that develops through time; a vital and open procedure, a generative process that overcomes its dependency on actions of direct and deliberate determination over the results, to an intended multiplicity of temporalities, itinerancies and permanencies, in which the collective functions within the appropriation and training of action, to the extent that it socially transforms and reconfigures the territory.

They materialize as an impulse towards a system of social-collective responsibility, out of associative devices and network integration for diagnosis, prioritizing, planning and design making through soft technologies applied to assembly dynamics and self-managed and regulated deliberative practices. The will to create emergent models of political action that lean towards proposals, citizen practices of collective leadership, cohabitation and local empowerment, and processes of participative and leading governability within the reconfiguration of the state and power structures.
