Ian Taylor joined Feilden Clegg Bradley in July 2001 and became a partner in January 2003. He previously worked at Arup Associates before becoming an associate director at Bennetts Associates, where his work on the Wessex Water Operations Centre, the Richard Attenborough Centre at Leicester University, Jubilee Library Brighton, and proposals for an extended Museum of the Moving Image for the British Film Institute in London set new standards for environmental performance and inclusive design. Ian has been involved with the Building Research Establishment on the development of BREEAM and Envest environment analysis tools. He has worked on eleven RIBA-awardwinning projects, two of which reached the Stirling Prize shortlist. He has recently completed student housing for Queen Mary University of London, the Northampton and Islington Academies, and the One Planet Living Community in Brighton. He is currently working on projects at the London School of Economics, the University of Southampton, and the University of Washington in Seattle. He leads the FCBS Research and Innovation Group.
