Gianluca Giordano is an Italian architectural photographer. He has a master degree in artwork restoration (Accademia delle Belle Arti Aldo Galli, IED, Como) and has collaborated at the conservation of listed artworks in Italy. After teaching for several years (visual arts, restoration) he got back to his passion, photography. There he combines his artistic background and deep knowledge of the materials and techniques for a new vision of architecture. Especially in the Ivrea research we can see his respect for the aging buildings emphasizing the idea behind the original project in all its glory and power.
