Germán Valenzuela Buccolini received his degree in Architecture from the Maritime University of Chile and his Master’s degree in Architecture from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and the Center of Contemporary Culture of Barcelona. He is co-founder and ex-director of the University of Talca School of Architecture, where he is a professor for a number of architecture workshops, research courses and final degree projects. He has been a guest professor at the University of Costa Rica School of Architecture, the National University of Córdoba, Argentina, the University of the Republic in Uruguay, and Roma Tre University in Italy. He has organized and participated in various events for the dissemination of Latin American architecture, including the seminar “Del Territorio al Detalle”. He is a participant in the international collective RED-SUR and collaborates with the Uruguayan architecture magazine MAPEO, among others.
