Ferran Mateo is a photographer and cultural journalist. He holds undergraduate degrees in Physical Sciences and in Humanities as well as Master’s degrees in International Relations and Diplomacy (Diplomatic School – Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation), in Production and Research in Art (UGR), and in Cultural Management (UOC). He undertook his artistic studies at the Theatre Institute in Barcelona and the Institute of Photographic Studies of Catalonia (IEFC). He is preparing a PhD on landscape and contemporary photography.
Since 2001, he has worked as a photographer and cultural journalist, with a special focus on architecture, urban space and the performing arts. He publishes cultural criticism in a number of publications and has collaborated with the most relevant architecture firms and technical publishing houses in Spain. Some of his notable campaigns include “Walk Don’t Run” for Camper and “Beyond Borders” for TPG.
