Cadaval & Solà-Morales

Eduardo Cadaval & Clara Solà-Morales work together since 2003. The studio has won numerous awards including the prestigious Bauwelt Prize, the Young Architects Prize from the Catalan Institute of Architects, the silver medal of the XI Mexican Architecture Biennale, the Prize of the Ibero-American Architecture Biennale and Architectural Record’s Design Vanguard award. In 2007 Cadaval & Solà-Morales were considered by Wallpaper Magazine as one of the world’s 10 best young offices.

Eduardo Cadaval (Mexico City 1975) Holds a BA from the National University of Mexico (2000) and a Masters degree from Harvard University (2003). He is an Associate Professor at Barcelona’s School of Architecture and visiting professor at the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Calgary.

Clara Solà-Morales (Barcelona 1975) Holds a BA from Barcelona’s School of Architecture (2000) and a Masters degree from Harvard University (2003). Associate Professor at Tarragona’s School of Architecture and visiting professor at the University of Calgary. She acted as head of graduate studies at the Barcelona Institute of Architecture until 2012.
