Appareil is a versatile architectural practice in Barcelona located in the design and innovation business district of the @22. Grouping a team of multidisciplinary and international profiles; composed predominantly of architects, it explores architecture and construction as a discipline in which making is central, embracing new design technologies and craft.

In recent years, the office has completed design missions for small-scale refurbishments and furniture, domestic scale projects, public equipment and large scale oversee developments.

Appareil´s experimental practice combines computational design and fabrication with creative actions, having hosted several exhibitions and installations. Involved in academia, the members of the firm teach in several European universities, as well as run advanced architectural workshops across the world.
