After War by Volker Heinze
The pictures are saved single images from sequenced mpg-files taken from military servers. The images were filmed automatically, as control movies from the head of cruise missiles. Some were taken during the Bosnian war; some were taken during the first and second Iraq wars. These images have been artificially colorized like post cards from the beginning of the 20th century in order to give them a more affable friendly look, so they can be used as holiday cards from liberated countries.
