Visual Intelligence
SCEWC | Susan Etlinger
Excerpt from the interview recorded at Smart City Expo World Congress, Barcelona 2016
There are different ways that we teach computers to recognize images.
One is called supervised learning, where we should have tagged everything, and then we give another one to understand. And there’s unsupervised learning where we don’t do anything, we let the computer to figure out what it sees as their relationships.
Visual intelligence gives us an insight into the way that we not only see images, but also the things that we don’t think about.
