Landscape Relationship
Laura Allen
Excerpt interview by Geoff Manaugh, published in "Landscape Futures: Instruments, Devices and Architectural Inventions", 2013
There’s a complicated relationship between whether we think landscape is a romantic environment or an industrial resource.
We should think about architecture as something that can be envirographic: whether it has some type of synthesis with its environment and whether it’s actively working it. We should set up a series of projects that try to investigate architecture as a living system adapting to the environment around it.
