Jorge Pessoa is an architect and town planner graduated from the Mackenzie University (1992), specialist in Real Estate Business at the Armando Álvares Penteado Foundation – FAAP / SECOVI (2000), master in Urban and Regional Planning at the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism of the São Paulo University – FAUUSP (2008), currently pursuing a PhD in the same institution. Has experience in the area of Architectural Design, Urban Design and Urban and Regional Planning. In 2014, he was the winner of the APCA Prize in the Architecture / Urbanity category for the Sapé Favela Redevelopment project. Prior to founding the office of Pessoa Arquitetos, he was a founding partner of BASE 3 Arquitetos office, from 2007 until its extinction in 2014. He is a professor at the Escola Panamericana de Arte e Design.
