Melanie Dodd is an architect and academic. She is Programme Director of Spatial Practices at Central Saint Martins, as well as the Course Leader of the MA Architecture: Cities and Innovation.
She has taught architecture at a range of institutions since 1995 including University of Cambridge, RCA, London Metropolitan University, and RMIT University in Melbourne. Both her teaching, practice and research interests focus on the relationships between social and political infrastructures, and built environments. Her pedagogical practice focuses on the ‘joined-up’ relationship between teaching and practice explored in her book ‘Live Projects: Designing with People’ (RMIT Press, 2012).
