Jeffrey Kipnis

As architecture/design curator for the Wexner Center for the Arts, organized the design survey, “Mood River”, and “Suite Fantastique,” a compilation of four exhibitions: Perfect Acts of Architecture, The Furniture of Scott Burton, The Predator – a collaboration between Greg Lynn and Fabian Marcaccio, and Imaginary Forces – Motion Graphics. He curated the retrospective of the work of Coop Himmelblau for the MAK in Vienna entitled, Beyond the Blue.  His film, A Constructive Madness, produced in collaboration with Tom Ball and Brian Neff, examines Frank Gehry’s work on the seminal Peter Lewis house project. His exhibition, A Field of Dreams, in collaboration with Stephen Turk and Jose Oubrerie, appeared in the Piranesi Variations curated by Peter Eisenman for the 2012 Venice Bienalle. His traveling exhibition, Figure Ground Game, opened at the Sciarc Gallery in Los Angeles Jan 2014. In 2016, he curated and presented the exhibition By Other Means for the GAA Foundation, Palazzo Benzo Gallery, Venice Italy.
