James Westcott

James Westcott is a writer and editor trained first as a journalist. He is editor-in-chief of Countryside: A Report (Taschen, 2020), Elements of Architecture (Taschen, 2018 and Marsilio, 2014), co-editor of Project Japan (Taschen, 2011) and author of When Marina Abramovic Dies: A Biography (MIT Press, 2010). He taught a seminar on the Anthropocene and a studio on the US-Mexico border (among other courses) at TU Delft. His writing has appeared in AA Files, Aeon, the Guardian, the New York Times, salon.com, Open Democracy, Alternet, among other places.
