OurSharedShelf Feminist Book Club

OurSharedShelf is an online feminist book club, founded by UN Women Goodwill Ambassador Emma Watson. Every two months Emma picks a book, and whoever wants to join in can read along and join discussions with people all around the world on the online forums.

This meet-up grew out of the wish of a few of the participants living in the Netherlands to meet in person to discuss the books. The gathering is international in nature, and we speak English.

This month we will be discussing the September/October choice: Hunger: A Memoir of (My) Body by Roxane Gay.

Whether you come every month or just happen to be near The Hague this once, you are very welcome to join us! Drinks and nibbles are provided, but you are of course very welcome to bring your own, too.

Previous books read by OurSharedShelf can be found here.
